• Design and planning studies to support development of port facilities<br />
• Plan port capabilities based upon forecast cargo flows, trade patterns, transportation and shipper logistics, and site and navigation constraints.<br />
• Develop performance characteristics, system requirements and concept level documents for bulk terminal equipment.<br />
• Develop cost estimates for marine terminal projects<br />
• Marketing to clients<br />
• Prepare and present proposals</p>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications Required: </strong><br />
• 4 year BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education. Non-degreed engineers with extensive industry experience may be considered. MSME degree would be a plus.<br />
• Proficient in AutoCAD<br />
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project software<br />
• Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgment<br />
• Periodic travel required, including international travel<br />
• Work in project locations remote from their home office for extended time periods<br />

<p><strong>Summary: </strong></p>
<p>You will manage and author NEPA documents for clients primarily in the Rocky Mountain and Plains regions of the U.S.  Clients will be primarily oil &amp; gas related clients, including commercial, tribal, or federal parties involved with exploration and development and pipeline transmission. Opportunities to work on other federal projects for clients such as the NPS, BLM, USFS, and DOD are also likely. When managing projects, you will manage and mentor other planning and scientific staff.  You will contribute to the strategic direction and growth of our planning efforts in the region and may be expected to work on proposals, provide other business development support and attend technical and marketing events.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties maybe assigned:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BS degree in Civil Engineering or comparable degree; MS degree a plus</li>
<li>2 to 5 years of civil and/or facilities related experience</li>
<li>Engineer Intern certification</li>
<li>Experience in transportation planning</li>
<li>Experience in site work, including grading and utilities</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to research, collect and organize information for analysis</li>
<li>Ability to work with other team members and clients in a collaborative manner</li>
<li>Ability and desire to travel, and to manage multiple diverse assignments</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite</li>
<li>Eligible to obtain Transportation Worker Identity Credential from TSA</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Participate in planning port facilities based upon forecast cargo flows, trade patterns, transportation and shipper logistics</li>
<li>Participate in studies to support development of port facilities</li>
<li>Support preparation of contracting packages including project management, budgeting, scheduling, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and quality assurance/quality control criteria</li>
<li>Prepare and present reports, both written and in PowerPoint</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable Capabilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Foreign language skills in French, Spanish or Portuguese</li>
<li>Experience in design or development of Port facilities and related infrastructure projects, including dredging</li>
<li>Experience in design or development of freight railroad and related infrastructure projects</li>
<li>Field experience, including inspection, condition assessments, and construction oversight</li>
<li>Proficient in AutoCAD 2010 and Civil 3D software</li>
<li>LEED AP Certification   </li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Summary: </strong></p>
<p>This position is responsible for supporting the management and execution of projects, including support for document production, proofreading and editing, record keeping and basic staff support.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as may be assigned:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with the production and preparation of environmental and planning documents. Maintains schedules, meeting planning, document management, and status reporting.</li>
<li>Supports analysts and managers with basic research and compilation of data and references.</li>
<li>Assists with public involvement programs by creating meeting materials, organizing meetings, taking meeting minutes, etc.</li>
<li>Assists with maintenance of project websites.</li>
<li>Provide basic staff support including assistance with timesheets, expense reports, purchasing, and other various administrative tasks.</li>
<li>Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages</li>
<li>Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications Required: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgment.</li>
<li>Associates Degree or two years of experience in business or administration.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents associated with preparation of environmental and planning documents.</li>
<li>Ability to work with the public and/or agency, scientific, and managerial staff.</li>
</ul>
